粤港澳大湾区气象研究院（简称“研究院”）2023年经中国气象局批复组建，是以中国气象局广州热带海洋气象研究所为核心，整合湾区内各类气象科研机构形成的国家级科技创新平台，为服务粤港澳大湾区建设和“21世纪海上丝绸之路”国家战略及气象现代化建设提供气象科技支撑。

研究院现有人员122人，其中研究员/正高级工程师共32人，副研究员/高级工程师42人，具有博士学位63人，硕士学位45人，设有3个研究中心—“热带气象观测试验与机理研究中心”、“热带区域数值预报关键技术研究中心”、“热带环境气象研究中心”和成果转化与学术交流中心。研究院拥有4个野外科学试验基地和2个省部级重点实验室，其中“中国气象局/广东省区域数值预报重点实验室”（以下简称“数值预报实验室”）是省部共建重点实验室，2012年批复成立，曾庆存院士是实验室的学术委员会主任。

为深入贯彻党的二十大精神，全面贯彻落实以习近平同志为核心的党中央关于建设世界重要人才中心和创新高地的战略部署精神，加快推进粤港澳大湾区气象人才高地建设，打造高素质人才队伍，现结合研究院实际面向国内外公开招聘数值预报实验室执行主任和中青年骨干，具体事项公告如下：

一、招聘岗位

1. 
   岗位条件
   （1）年龄在50周岁以下，具有博士学位，有海外工作经历5年以上的优先。
   （2）从事数值天气预报研究和开发工作，在国内外具有较高的学术影响力，在国内外知名学术期刊上发表过多篇高水平论文，具备带领团队进行科学研究和技术攻关的能力，具备承担各类重大科研项目或重大业务工程项目的经验。
   （3）具有良好的沟通能力和团队合作精神，能够协调跨学科、跨部门的合作与交流。
2. 
   岗位职责
   （1）任期内须全职全时在重点实验室工作。
   （2）协助实验室主任，负责实验室常规运行。
   （3）组织制定实验室发展规划并组织实施，提升实验室综合实力。
   （4） 加强实验室人才队伍和科研团队建设，提升实验室国际影响力。
   （5）加强科研业务融合，瞄准国家和地方重大战略、经济社会发展重大需求，开展模式技术攻关，提高模式预报准确率。
   （6）完成研究院交办的其他工作。

   岗位条件
   （1）年龄在40周岁以下，具有博士学位，数值天气预报专业背景,具有海外工作或学习经历优先。
   （2）从事数值天气预报研究和开发工作，具有承担国家级项目的经历，或作为核心人员完成数值模式算法研发，或在国内外学术期刊上发表的论文有较高的引用率。
   （3）具有较强的科研能力和创新意识，能够独立承担科研项目，推动学科发展，同时具备良好的团队协作精神。
2. 
   岗位职责
   （1）瞄准数值预报国内外发展前沿，开展热带区域数值预报关键技术研究。
   （2）协助实验室主任、团队首席制定实验室发展规划，完成团队重点攻关任务。
   （3）积极参与模式运行值班和应用推广等各项活动。
   （4）完成研究院和实验室交办的其他工作。

二、招聘程序

三、待遇情况

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Academy of Meteorological Research (hereinafter referred to as GBA Academy) is a national science and technology innovation platform that serves the construction of GBA, the goal of meteorological modernization, and the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” national strategy. China Meteorology Administration (CMA) approved to set up GBA Academy in 2023, which is centered on the Guangzhou Institute of Tropical and Marine Meteorology, CMA, and integrates various meteorological scientific research institutions in the Bay Area.

GBA Academy is currently staffed with a team of 122 people. Among them, 32 are Researchers/Professors of Engineering, 42 are Associate Researchers/Senior Engineers, 63 have doctoral degrees, and 45 have master's degrees.

GBA Academy has launched 3 research centers, which are an observation, experiment, and mechanism research center for tropical meteorology, a key technology research center for numerical forecasting in the tropical zone and a meteorological research center for tropical environment, as well as a center for research transformation and academic exchange.

GBA Academy is equipped with 4 field scientific experiment sites and 2 key laboratories of provincial and ministerial level. Among them, Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Regional Numerical Weather Prediction, CMA (hereinafter referred to as the "Key Laboratory") is a key laboratory jointly built by The People's Government of Guangdong Province and CMA in 2012. Zeng Qingcun, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed as the director of the academic committee of Key Laboratory.

In order to thoroughly implement the guiding principles from the Party’s 20th National Congress, fully implement the strategic plan of building world hubs for talent and innovation under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, accelerate the construction of meteorological talent hubs in the GBA Area, and create high-caliber talent teams, GBA Academy is now recruiting Executive Director and Key Meteorologists of Key Laboratory both at home and abroad. We hereby announce the specific matters on recruitment as follows:

1. Positions

   Executive Director of Key Laboratory
   Qualifications

   1. Aged under 50-year-old, hold doctoral degree. Candidates with more than 5 years of overseas work experience are preferred.
   2. Engage in research and development of numerical weather prediction (NWP), have high academic impact in both domestic and overseas. Specifically, candidates should have published numerous scientific papers in top-ranking academic journals at home and abroad. Candidates should have team leadership to direct and coordinate team members to conduct scientific research and spur breakthroughs on core technology. Candidates should have the ability to undertake various tasks. Candidates should be well-experienced in undertaking key R&D programs or other profession-related key engineering programs.
   3. Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to actively coordinate interdisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation and communication.

   Responsibilities

   1. Must work full-time in Key Laboratory during the term of office.
   2. Assist Director of Key Laboratory, responsible for the routine operation of the laboratory
      Organize to formulate and implement development plans of Key Laboratory, and aim to enhance the overall strength of the laboratory.
   3. Strengthen the construction of talent teams and sci-tech teams of Key Laboratory, and endeavor to enhance the international influence of Key Laboratory.
   4. Reinforce the integration between scientific research and meteorological service, spur breakthroughs on NWP technology, and improve numerical model forecasting accuracy, so as to respond to the national and local major strategic needs, and to meet the great demands of social and economic development.
   5. Complete other tasks assigned by GBA Academy.
   
   
   Key Meteorologists of Key Laboratory
   Qualifications

   1. Aged under 40-year-old, hold doctoral degree in NWP. Candidates with overseas work/study experience are preferred.
   2. Engage in research and development of NWP. Must be experienced in undertaking scientific programs of National-level，or have completed R&D of some numerical model algorithms as the main participant, or have published highly-cited paper on academic journals in both domestic and abroad.
   3. Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to actively coordinate interdisciplinary and interdepartmental cooperation and communication.

   Responsibilities

   1. Conduct research on key technology of tropical regional numerical model forecasting, and keep up with the development of cutting-edge science and technology of the world.
   2. Assist the Director and the Chief scientist of Key Laboratory with formulating development plans of Key Laboratory, and complete the team’s key research tasks.
   3. Actively participate in various activities such as model operation duty and application promotion.
   4. Complete other tasks assigned by GBA Academy and Key Laboratory.
